The Seiko Automatic Watch 6R15 SARB031

I saw this watch for the first a few days ago at the TimeZone Seiko forum. I absolutely love the retro look of it (about $400). And I agree w/ Ratskunk, it would be perfect if it was a manual wind. ;-) (pics courtesy of SixTee2 via TZ)

Looks great in black too!

TimeZone: Seiko: New SABR031 (Modem burner): "About T 30 days now, probably not yet properly 'run in' however already within COSC specs, & she tends to gain a few seconds per day. I will do the proper and obligatory position comparison when she has about 90 days run time. Curiously the crown when being turned so as to manual wind it, when brand new, would turn easily and then gain resistance. Observing through the transparent case back showed the primary rotor gear rotate properly, so I attribite the friction to the case/crown interface or possibly with the seal. In any event I made a note to wind it manually at least 10 turns per day and it has largely disappeared! Very legible dial, even in lower light, the hardlex crystal shows no scratches - not even hairline - though magnifying glass, and so far she has shown at least a 45 hour mainspring power reserve."
