This nice gift from Exaclair arrived a couple of weeks ago and has been sitting on my desk since. Finally getting around to a review. Every Exaclair, Rhodia, J. Herbin product I've tried to date has been great and this is no exception.
This is the Exacompta Paris Refillable 'Journal 21' Daily Planner.
The basic features:
- 12 months daily, January to December
- 15 months monthly, October to December
- 8 AM to 9 PM schedule
- Full line per half-hour
- Blank space for daily notes
- 72g, acid-free paper
- Elegant round corners — tear-off corner opens to day in progress
- Lightly tinted vellum paper
- Annual planning calendars for 2009 and 2010
- Current and following month calendars
- Sewn binding, lays flat when open
- Bound in address book
- Refillable
It lays almost flat, certainly well enough to write on without problems. The planner is of course refillable and has a plastic cover. I also like the perforated corner tabs that can be removed to easily find where you are.
The first several pages contain the usual lists of calendars, holidays, space for personal information, notes, etc.
I like it and plan to begin using it regularly.
Here are a few sample pics. Click on one to see it full size.

seems nice. I recently picked up a Moleskine daily planner for '09; as it turned out to be a lot less expensive than refills for my Franklin Covey planner...
