Review: Alden Norwegian Split-Toe Bluchers

I picked these up used at a decent price recently. I like them so far, especially after a good polish. [official Alden page]

They're my first pair of Alden shoes, and I hope to get more. These are somewhat casual as they're bluchers, with a Norwegian split toe. Made on the Aberdeen last in burgundy calfskin with double oak leather outsoles, and hand-sewn vamp and toe seam, reference #964.

Some pics are from the seller, some are mine. They already have a nice patina. And it looks like the soles and heels have been replaced.
