One of the latest from the great Dr. Walter Williams. This time it's his autobiography: Up From The Projects by Dr. Walter Williams
A wonderful and enjoyable read. You'll walk away with a better appreciation of what the man overcame, and what made him who he is today. The pictures and anecdotes are worth the price of admission alone.
Not too much more to say about it. A brief paperback, and a deal at under $12 from Amazon. Also enjoy the video interview with Dr. Williams.
You can read the preface and first chapter for free.

Walter williams what will happen when 50% of the total population earns only enough money to pay a third of all their neccessary living expenses. Even if its a two parent household where both parents work 60 hours a week. Than walter we will have a situation where friends family private charities and the government yes Walter the government will essentially be supporting half of the population Even if they work 60hours a week. What if the cause of this is not that the economy is not growing but that the percentage of income that all these folks receive from it is declining walter. When is it walter that all the ultra conservatives will finally come to realize that extreame inequality is a curse not a blessing. Do you still think this fifty percent of the population will support conservatives If this scenario comes to fruiation. Lets see the papers read ultra Conservatism creates socialism.
I don't believe that Walter Williams is a political conservative, let alone an ultra-conservative.
